Kingdom Hearts 25th Anniversary Exhibition will be held in Tokyo on February 5 - April 4, 2027

Sony Music Solutions is working with Walt Disney Japan and Square Enix to hold the Kingdom Hearts 25th Anniversary Exhibition. This special exhibition will take place at the Mori Arts Center Gallery on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in Tokyo, Japan, from February 5 to April 4, 2027.

The opening period of this exhibition will be right around the Kingdom Hearts series' actual 25th anniversary, which falls in March next year—based on the initial Japanese PS2 release of the first Kingdom Hearts on March 28, 2002. The companies also teased that this exhibition will not only feature art and references from existing series entries and spinoffs, but also references that connect to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV.

The Kingdom Hearts series are role playing games produced by Disney and Square Enix. The protagonist Sora uses the Keyblade weapon that is wielded by the chosen people. The story has him travel around various Disney and Pixar worlds, forging bonds with irreplacable friends, and stand against the darkness that threatens the worlds. With light, darkness, and hearts as the ubiquitous theme axes, stories with a lot of encroaching mysteries are being expanded upon.

This exhibition will celebrate a quarter century of history of the Kingdom Hearts series, which will have its 25th anniversary in March 2027. Through the numerous stories that have decorated the series, this exhibition will let you experience the adventure of Sora and his friends, while letting you once again taste the emotional movements when playing the games from the first Kingdom Hearts to Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts III, and even the numerous spinoffs as well. Furthermore, the content will raise expectations on the next storyline to a whole new level, as you can once again feel the series' appeals and trails towards Kingdom Hearts IV, which will be released in the future.

The venue is planned to have photo spots based on famous cutscenes from the games, displays of Keyblade replicas and material documents, immersive theaters, and sales of goods original to the venue, among others.
