The Kickstarter for the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, has now gone live.
The funding target for the epic RPG is sat at $900,000 with the game already off to a cracking start with $56,051 raised already at the time of writing.
A minimum of $20 (for a limited period only) will score you a DRM-free copy of the game on either PC, Mac or Linux depending on your inclination.
If the game is successfully funded, the highly anticipated game is tipped to release in December 2014 on those aforementioned formats.
Its a brilliantly constructed and informative Kickstarter too; with plenty of scope and detail on what the developer hopes to achieve.
We've all been banging on and whining for years now about how much we wanted another Torment title, well, now we have one.
InXile Entertainment, the developers of Torment: Tides of Numenera, have been successful on Kickstarter before; trebling their funding target for Wasteland 2 and enabling that game (a similiarly mammoth RPG) to see the light of day later on this year.
You can throw your hard earned monies in their direction here.
