Final Fantasy X HD to include FFX-2 on PS3, separate releases on Vita

Japanese magazine Jump has revealed that Final Fantasy X HD's PlayStation 3 version will also include a copy of Final Fantasy X-2 on the same disc for no additional charge.

The singing, dancing, costume-changing sequel is a welcome and obvious addition - the game reuses many of the areas and assets from FF10, and while its story raised eyebrows back on its original release, the battle system of the sequel is actually one of the best and most interesting the FF series has ever offered.

The two titles will ship on one Blu-Ray disc for an as-yet unannounced price. Vita owners aren't quite so lucky - they'll be able to pick up both titles, but the two will be available on separate cartridges or as separate downloads, not as a bundle package.

We fully expect to see more from the title at this year's E3 - especially after Producer Shinji Hashimoto teased that more information would be coming soon.
