Brand new Dark Souls II trailer released

After being promised late last week that we could expect an update on the sequel to 2011's most notoriously challenging action RPG, Dark Souls, that hour has at last arrived.

So, cast your eyes south and witness the first gameplay trailer for FROM SOFTWARE's Dark Souls II, currently exclusive to IGN.

I cannot wait for this; who else is ready for more blissful action RPG sufferance?

Dark Souls 2 is due to release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms sometime in early 2014.
