New Dragon's Crown DLC adds a neverending tower
Atlus has been slowly adding more and more content for their sidescroller beat 'em up ever since its release, adding features such as Cross-Play functionality between the Vita and PS3, balancing equipment and fine-tuning skills, netplay improvements, additional narrator voices, and more.
Today, they have released their final update for the game that puts everything on a whole other scale. Not only has the level cap been raised from 99 to 255 (my poor Level 97 Elf!), but they have also added a new dungeon called the "Tower of Mirages" that provides tens of thousands of floors for players to crawl their way through. They have also added a brand new difficulty level, "Ultimate", for those just looking for a new challenge in the main game.
Other improvements include the ability to assign shortcuts to L1 and the Up directional button; allow characters to appear transparent when overlapping each other to make them more visible; the ability to skip already-completed Guild Quests and early story quests in subsequent playthroughs; and the option to make damage be displayed as a running total instead of on a per-hit basis.
All this for the low, low price of FREE. How generous! If you would like to learn more about that game, head on over and check out our review.
