Microsoft Introduces New 360 Bundles for Europe

A few new types of Xbox 360 bundle have been showing up on the websites of several retailers, revealing at least part of Microsoft's Christmas strategy in the region.

Currently in mainland Europe the Xbox 360 and PS3 are neck-and-neck despite the 360's year head start in sales. The UK is somewhat of a different story, though, with the Xbox 360 leading by around one million consoles.

This Christmas Microsoft will be looking to break that deadlock and try to catch up with the ridiculous success of the Nintendo Wii. In order to help with that effort new console bundles are set to release in Europe and possibly the UK.

People who purchase the arcade system can look forward to recieving copies of Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1 and Sega Superstars Tennis.

Meanwhile, those who purchase the Premium or Elite system will recieve Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda: The Game. The bundles will be avaliable from October 17th.

Not exactly the greatest bundle for the hardcore, but it should definitely help target that all-important parents and kids demographic.
