ArenaNet Announces Guild Wars: Nightfall

ArenaNet, developer of the very popular MMORPG, "Guild Wars," has finally announced the title of the 3rd installment - Nightfall. To celebrate the opening of beta-testing, there will be an in-game PvP event on the weekend of July 28th featuring new features held in Nightfall.

During the event, players from both the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars Factions will be able to try out the two new professions from Nightfall: the Dervish, a "scythe-wielding holy warrior," and the Paragon, the "guardian angel of the Elonian people." Alongside being able to test out these new classes, players will also be able to earn items that can be traded in for rewards throughout the event.

The Guild Wars Nightfall PVP Preview event will kick off on Friday, July 28 at 12:01am PDT and will continue through Sunday, July 30 at 11:59pm PST.
