Nintendo Dominates 2008 Aussie Charts

Figures released by Australian Retail Tracker OzToys show that Nintendo's current world-dominating grip is quite, quite tight there. Of the top ten games of 2008 in the country, only three were on non-Nintendo systems.

Wii Fit tops out the chart, followed by Wii Play, Mario Kart and Mario & Sonic Olympics. After these four the 360 and PS3 versions of GTA4 break in. The only other non-Nintendo system title on the top ten is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, whose popularity speaks for itself.
