Imperial Edition announced for The Elder Scrolls Online

Bethesda's announced the Imperial Edition for The Elder Scrolls Online.

With the CE comes a 12 'inch statue of the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, a 224-page illustrated guide of Tamriel, a map of Tamriel, steelbook cover and digital content.

The digital content part of the Imperial Edition will enable players to play as an Imperial and join any Alliance, a white imperial horse, a mudcrab pet and an experience bonus, Rings of Mara, when you complete the quest Ritual of Mara with a friend.

Those who pre-order either the standard edition or the Imperial Edition of TESO will also gain access to The Explorer’s Pack, which features a Scuttler vanity pet, four additional treasure maps and the ability to play as any of the nine races in any of the Alliances in the game.

The retail version of the Imperial Edition will set you back £89.99/$99.99/€99.99, whilst the digital version will cost £69.99/$79.99/€79.99.

Bethesda's also confirmed an Early Access program for the MMO for anyone who has pre-ordered or pre-purchased it before release on PC or Mac. A five-day Early Access will be given to those who pre-ordered the digital standard or Imperial Editions on the TESO website. However, further chances to gain Early Access will be coming from additional participating outlets.

Bethesda's also released a new eight-minute cinematic trailer. To say it's epic is understatement of the year. Find that below also.

The Elder Scrolls Online releases on PC and Mac worldwide on April 4, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions to drop in June. An open beta will arrive on PS4 first, though a date for that is yet to be announced.
