Idea Factory International recently confirmed the recent news revealed by company president Yoshiteru Sato that three of their products - Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation, and Fairy Fencer F will all be brought to the PC via the Steam digital distribution platform sometime in 2015.
There has been no word on what exactly the release date is or what the system requirements shall be, but we should at least expect Steam achievements to be one of the enhancements. Also, I would love it if they added the ability to use Steam Workshop. I want someone to make a mod where every single character in the game is just Noire.
Personally, I am really loving how more and more developers and publishers from Japan are looking to release their titles on Steam. Given how successful these efforts appear to be especially with Valkyria Chronicles is very appreciative. Not only does it broaden the number of people that can enjoy these games for themselves, but if it does well, that will hopefully convince the companies to invest in the future of the IP.
