New World of Final Fantasy screenshots showcase character cameos and summon creatures

Square Enix has posted new screenshots for World of Final Fantasy, featuring several of the monsters and characters shown in the recent TGS trailer.

You can find the images in the gallery below, which show off summons like Shiva and Ifrit as well as character cameos like Lightning. The screens also showcase a few of the locations found within the game, such as the hub city of Cornelia,  a dense forest region, and an icy mountain range.

The game is set to release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2016.
