Final Fantasy XIV patch 3.1 arrives next week

It's been a big year for the success story that is Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The game continues to gain subscribers and the most recent expansion Heavensward was a big hit as well. Now the game gets it's first big content patch since the launch of the expansion in patch 3.1: As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness.

It's a pretty big patch, some of the new content includes:

New main scenario story quests
Exploration Missions
The Void Ark, a new 24 person raid
Two new dungeons: Saint Mocianne's Arboretum and Pharos Sirius Hard Mode
The Zundu beast tribe quests
AA new trial, The Minstrels's Ballad: Thordan's Reign
The Lord of Verminion Golden Saucer(pet battling)
New hairstyles
Several pre-existing mounts can now fly
