Final Fantasy XV’s release date to be announced on March 30

After years of waiting Square Enix is finally ready to reveal when they’ll be announcing Final Fantasy XV’s release date.

Detailed during a new pre-recorded Active Time Report, director Hajime Tabata shared some new details on the highly anticipated March event first teased several months ago in the lead up to the game’s 2016 launch.

The event – titled Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV – will take place on March 30 at 7PM PST at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Instead of several smaller events, Square Enix is preparing one large broadcast event to present the true face of the game. The company is also planning on revealing the details of the free tech demo due out to players before launch.

Square Enix’s reasoning for one massive event comes from the concern of one region getting information before the others. The presentation is set to be hosted by Kinda Funny’s own Greg Miller and Tim Gettys. An official site promising ticket admissions has since opened here.
