World of Final Fantasy confirmed for October release

World of Final Fantasy will launch this coming October, Square Enix has announced.

The spin-off will launch on October 25 in North America and on October 28 in Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Square Enix also announced the Day One Edition of the game will come with Final Fantasy VII antagonist Sephiroth as a summon for your party.

A new trailer was also released alongside the announcement, the first trailer featuring the English-voicing cast, and includes sightings of Tidus and Yuna from Final Fantasy X, Vivi from Final Fantasy IX and Squall & Quistis from Final Fantasy VIII among others.
