Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta dated for late August

After announcing a closed beta last month, Square Enix has announced that the closed beta test for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will run from Friday, August 25 (9 PM PDT) to Sunday, September 3 (9 PM PDT). Those in North and Latin America have until Sunday, August 20 (11:59 PM PDT) to register online for a chance to participate at: http://sqex.to/DissidiaCB. Selected applicants will receive a future e-mail containing more information. Those in Europe can register here.

The beta will include fourteen playable characters - the main protagonist from each numbered Final Fantasy title from I to XIV.

Square Enix also recently revealed that Jecht from Final Fantasy X will return to the spinoff series, and you can catch his introduction trailer below. However, Jecht will not be playable during the beta.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is scheduled to be released sometime in early 2018 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. For more information, check out our E3 preview!
