Check Out the Assassin's Creed Origins Cinematic Trailer

During the Xbox Gamescom conference, Ubisoft revealed a new CGI trailer for Assassin's Creed Origins, showing off the beauties of Ancient Egypt... with some assassinating, of course. There aren't any gameplay elements in this particular trailer, but it's a good video to watch if you want to get a better idea of the world of Origins.

Ubisoft has been focusing a lot on what is making Origins different from previous games in the franchise, including going in depth about combat and leaning into multiple RPG elements. Origins really appears to be shaping up as a new direction for the long-running series.

Assassin's Creed Origins will release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27.
