Nioh's 'Bloodshed's End' DLC launches on September 26

PlayStation and Team Ninja have announced the Nioh's third and final DLC offering 'Bloodshed's End' will launch on September 26. Tom Lee - Creative Director at Team Ninja - took to PlayStation Blog to detail the new DLC content.

Our latest adventure picks up where we left off in Defiant Honor. The Siege of Osaka’s winter campaign was put to an end by a peace negotiation between Toyotomi and Tokugawa.

However, conditions were harsh as Osaka Castle lost its secondary and tertiary enclosures, as well as its inner and outer moats, leaving just the main enclosure for the defeated.

Inevitably, this situation led to an uprising and another war broke out just months after the winter campaign. This is the final phase of the Sengoku-era, and the end of William’s journey.

In addition to new missions, new Yokai, new characters, new Guardian Spirits, Team Ninja announced a new perpetual battleground mode called 'The Abyss' will also be added to the game. Team Ninja is quiet on details at the moment, but they promise 'epic battles and unique challenges' for players who are looking for the ultimate test of skill.

Bloodshed’s End will be available on September 26 for $9.99/€9.99/£7.99, and is also included in the season pass.
