Dragon's Crown Pro Japanese website launches with more information

Dragon's Crown Pro, Vanillaware's PS4 remaster of their 2D sidescrolling RPG has finally received an official Japanese website. New information has been revealed, most importantly is a change in release date. Dragon's Crown Pro has been pushed back to February 8, 2018. In addition to this a new promotional video has been released. This video details the premise of Dragon's Crown in an easy to understand way while enapsulating the charm of this title.

The website also provides information the different character classes available to Dragon's Crown and examples of the visual upgrade in this remaster. Not only that but there has been the inclusion of an announcement for DLC in Dragon's Crown Pro. It has been noted that this DLC will be in the form of a new scenario that takes the form of a traditional pen and paper adventure on your console. This new adventure is titled "The Hidden Treasures of Demon Island."

This new adventure takes shape in the form of a digital book! After choosing your favorite adventurers, shake the dice and let it go! To find mysterious treasures hidden on this island, rely on courage, determination and good fortune to fight fearsome monsters and avoid dangerous traps!

This release is a remaster of the 2013 PS3/Vita release, featuring 4K resolution and a new live orchestra recording of the soundtrack. The new release will also feature multiplayer compatibility with the PS3 and Vita versions of the game, allowing cross play between platforms. A special Royal Edition will also be released in Japan featuring a special box, 3 CD orchestra album, a 12-page illustration booklet, and a special PS4 custom theme.

Dragon's Crown Pro will release in Japan on February 8, 2018, having been pushed back from it's original date of January 25, 2018. 

An English localization for Dragon's Crown Pro has not yet been announced.
