Leaked Kingdom Hearts 3 screenshots appear to confirm a new world - spoilers

While Kingdom Hearts III is slated to be released sometime in 2018, very little has been shared of the game outside of the few press events Square Enix has held for the title.
But that hasn't stopped fans from trying to scrounge as much information as possible about the highly anticipated RPG, and today may be the biggest bust yet.
Over on the Kingdom Hearts Insider forums, a fan has posted a massive thirteen new screenshots of what is purportedly a new world in Kingdom Hearts III. We have collected all the screenshots and shared them in the gallery below. While the source of the screenshots is unknown, the volume of screenshots, number of assets and sheer quality of them seems to suggest it's not likely to be a fake - but still, take it with a pinch of salt regardless. This is strictly a rumor.
It's also worth noting that if real these are clearly development screenshots from an in-development build, featuring performance data, some annotations clearly added after the fact, and non-final in-game visuals. Don't expect these screens, if real, to be entirely indicative of how the final game will look - but they do clearly reveal a new world and new guest party member characters.

The screenshots depict a world based on the 2001 Pixar movie Monsters, Inc. - something of a modern classic. The various screens also show the movie's leads, Sullivan and Mike, as party members. Sora, Donald and Goofy also appear to have new monster forms for this world. This would be another Pixar movie world for the game, following on from the confirmation of a Toy Story world.
Kingdom Hearts III is scheduled to be released later in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
