New Gundam Breaker announced for PlayStation 4, releasing worldwide in 2018

Bandai Namco has announced New Gundam Breaker, the 4th entry into the Gundam Breaker series of games. The game is planned for worldwide release exclusively for PlayStation 4 in 2018.

This will mark the first time the game gets an official localization in North America and Europe. While 2016's Gundam Breaker 3 did receive an English-subtitled release in Asia, it never properly made its way westward. Not much more information about New Gundam Breaker has been revealed at this time, but Gundam and Gunpla fans have something to look forward to this year.

Gundam Breaker is a series of mission-based action games with a significant player customization element - think Diablo meets Armored Core. The player can receive new parts from Gunpla kits to mix and match to make their own unique robot suit.

Featuring a multitude of different Gunpla, the game will enable players to construct their own Gunpla and take them into battle. As enemies are damaged or destroyed, they’ll leave body parts or weapons behind which players can collect and use for further customization of their own Gunpla.
