New Square Enix game by Kingdom Hearts team

Square Enix have announced a new game being developed by the KH/KHII team and Tetsuya Nomura. Set in real-world Japan, the game takes place mainly in Shibuya, a trendy Tokyo region. Here, Neku (our hero, the main character) meets a mysterious girl named Tsuki in the streets and the two are forced to play a 'mysterious game' together in Shibuya.

The game features many famous and well-known landmarks; the 109 Shopping Mall, supposedly the most financially successful in the world, the Scramble Crossing, reportedly the 'most heavily trafficked crosswalk in the world', and more.

Although Gameplay details are few, it is know that when a battle begins, Tsuki and Neku will face off monsters each on their own screen of the DS. The player will have to control both battles at the same time as they will have adverse effects on each other. Further details are being kept hushed, although hopefully more information will surface at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
