Fable III contains 47 hours of voice

Lionhead's Audio Producer George Backer has told fellow developers that Fable III will have 47 hours of voice-acted dialogue when it ships this October.

Speaking at the talk at Develop, a conference for British game developers to gather and share knowledge, Backer also said that over 80 actors are to appear in the game including some famous names including John Cleese, Stephen Fry and Sir Ben Kingsley.

The 32 different types of NPC in the game should have around 2000 lines to say each - the idea being that you won't hear them repeat themselves often.

We'll see how it works in the final release on October 26th, so stick with us for all our Fable III coverage and our full review when the game launches!
