Xenogears Orchestral Album in the Works

Easily one of the greatest RPGs ever, Xenogears broke a lot of ground when it was released, delving deep into topics surrounding religion and philosophy. The game is well-regarded for its strong character development, fascinating combo fighting system, and especially, it's music, which is what brings us to this latest exciting news.

Earlier today, Yasunori Matsuda, the composer for classic RPG titles Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and the Xeno series, announced via his Twitter account that an orchestrally-arranged album for Xenogears is being crafted with a release date TBD.

As a gift to fans, he is letting people signed up to the SQUARE-ENIX MEMBERS site to be able to choose 3 of their favorite tracks that they would like to see included on the album. Samples for all 37 tracks that were compiled on the original soundtrack has been made available for listening, and the songs with the most votes will be recreated. Voters have until the 20th to make their decisions.

My problem? I want all 37!
