Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood revealed at PDXCON with Reveal Trailer

At PDXCON in Berlin, Germany, publisher Bigben and developer Cyanide have released the reveal trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood. The action RPG is set to release in Summer 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Find the trailer below.

Earthblood follows the story of Cahal, an exiled werewolf who returns to his tribe to find an oil extraction site set around his home forest, destroying the land around a sanctuary. As Cyanide puts it: 'At times a wolf, at times a human, Cahal can transform into a werewolf when rage consumes him.'

Cyanide's game director for Earthblood, Patch, discussed how the studio hopes to embody the main aspects from the pen-and-paper game to the video game, such as an 'unflinchingly mature universe overflowing with current topics such as the destruction of nature by man and their machines'. A key component to the game's mechanics is that of Rage, which seems to affects Cahal's transformations.

While PDXCON continues throughout the weekend, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood does not seem to appear on the schedule, so we might have to wait a little bit longer to see some proper gameplay.
