Final Fantasy VII Remake Trailer introduces new theme song; shows Red XIII, Scarlet, Hojo, Cloud in a dress, and more

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake, showcasing a new theme song for the game along with many familiar faces and places. We finally get a look at Red XIII, Scarlet, Cloud in a dress, Hojo, the Choco/Mog summon, Leviathan, and more.

The theme song is titled 'Hollow' and is composed by Nobuo Uematsu with vocals by Yosh, the bilingual frontman for Japanese rock band Survive Said The Prophet. Uematsu is joined by Masashi Hamauzu (Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XIII) and Mitsuto Suzuki (Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII) as the game's music composition team. Square Enix has posted some commentary by the composers on the official website.

Square Enix has also released a Behind the Scenes video for the new theme song with commentary by Nobuo Uematsu. Check that out with the new trailer below. Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to release for PlayStation 4 on April 10.
