Persona 4 Golden: Chie (Chariot) social link choices & unlock guide
Chie Satonaka is the second person to join your colorful murder mystery gang in Persona 4 Golden, and like most of the key characters in the game you can get to know her by leveling up your social link.
Boosting your S-Link with Chie in turn offers bonuses for Chariot Persona fusing, as that’s her Arcana - and it also can lead to a romantic subplot if you want to pursue something a little more than friendship with Chie. This page features a list of all social link ranks and conversation choices for hanging out in the Chie S-Link in Persona 4 Golden. It’s presented as spoiler-free as possible.
Chie is one of the romanceable characters in P4G, too - so if you rank your relationship up with her sufficiently, you can pursue a romantic relationship with her as your girlfriend. That too is detailed in this guide.
The way social links work in Persona 4 is that there’s a hidden stat for each s-link. As you hang out with characters you’ll earn points that add to that value and move you closer to the next rank. Saying the right things gifts you bonus points, thus moving you up the ranking more quickly, thus saving you more time to do other things.
Any conversation choices not listed in this guide have no impact on your rank - so you can choose whatever you like there. For choices listed, the numbers next to each answer show how many points are added for each answer when you’re getting a full bonus. The bonus is achieved by having a Chariot Persona on you when hanging out with Chie - if you don’t have one, the point values will be slightly reduced.
- Chie Satonaka is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. You can’t hang out with her on rainy days.
- Find Chie on the School Rooftop on weekdays. On Holidays and Sundays, she’ll be at the south end of the Shopping District.
