Persona 4 Golden: Rise (Lovers) social link choices & unlock guide
Rise Kujikawa is a unique member of the Persona 4 Golden party as she doesn’t join you in battle, but she’s still vitally important. She represents the Lovers arcana, and you’ll want to get to know her through her social link storyline.
Rise is also a romanceable character you can become boyfriend and girlfriend with if you want - appropriately for the Lovers’ arcana. This guide also details how and when you’ll go from a friendship s-link to a romantic relationship.

Rise is of course a romanceable character in P4G, meaning you can eventually make her your girlfriend if you want - it just requires you to say the right things throughout this social link. We cover that here, too.
In Persona 4 Golden your social links each have a hidden experience-like stat, and when each levels up to the next rank is determined by these points. Saying the right things when hanging out can grant you bonus points, speeding up the process of becoming better friends and saving you a whole lot of in-game time that can then be spent elsewhere, like studying for your Yasogami High school exams.
The points next to each choice in this guide are based on the value you’ll earn with the Persona Arcana bonus - which in Rise’s case, means having a Persona of the Lovers Arcana with you every time you hang out with Rise. If you don’t, you’ll earn slightly less points.
- You can hang out with Rise Kujikawa on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She’s not available on rainy days.
- Rise can be found in the Classroom Building 1F on weekdays, while on holidays and weekends she hangs out in the South Shopping District.

The social link with Rise will begin automatically on July 23, which will be some time after you first encounter the budding superstar as part of the story. That’ll get you rank 1 for free.

When your Rise (Lovers) social link reaches rank 10, you’ll receive a Signed Photo item, which also unlocks the ability to fuse Kanzeon and Ishtar, powerful Persona. Rise also learns the Weakness Scan ability, which can be a lifesaver in dungeons.
