
Bravely Default Flying Fairy Walkthrough: Where to go, step-by-step guide, and more
Welcome to RPG Site's Minimalist Walkthrough to Bravely Default Flying Fairy. This guide is for the Switch 2 version of the game; however, it does apply to past versions of the game. The guide here doesn't contain boss tips or class builds and acts more as a pointer to where to go next. Obviously, you can also follow the yellow objective marker to head to where the current objective is.

Prologue
- Leave the inn for an event.
- Head inside Caldisla Castle and talk to the King.
- Leave Caldisla and on the world map, enter the cave placed in the northwest.
- Travel to the end of the cave (Norende Ravine) and speak to the adventurer.
- Treasures (Norende Ravine): Potion, 200 pq
- Head out of the cave and return to Caldisla.
- Head to the castle and talk to the king. You will get a tutorial on Norende Reconstruction.
- Leave Caldisla and head to the event marker southwest to trigger a boss fight.
- You will get the Monk and White Mage Asterisk.
- Asterisk will let you switch into different jobs. You should play around with various job classes as their abilities can be carried over in your sub-abilities slot.
- Head to the destination marker to Centro Keep.
- Most dungeons in Bravely Default are pretty linear, you can reach the end by finding the lever to remove the gate so you can go further.
- Treasures (Centro Keep): Silver Glasses, Phoenix Down, Echo Herbs, Wakeup Bell, Potion, Mage Masher
- If you reach the destination marker, a boss fight will ensue.
- Defeating the boss will give you the Black Mage Asterisk.
- Return to Caldisla and head to the castle throne for an event.
- Leave Caldisla and head back to Centro Keep. Exit out to the world map by taking the north exit.
- Head inside the fortress to the north to Lontano Villa.
- Navigate through Lontano Villa, heading to the end will lead to a boss fight.
- Treasures (Lontano Villa): Ether, Antidote, Potion, Spear, 400 pg, White Cape, Phoenix Down
- Note: In Lontano Villa, there is a blue chest that is locked; you will need to wait until chapter 6 to unlock it.
- When you defeat the boss, you will get the Knight Asterisk. Anyways, head back to Caldisla.
- Go to the throne room for an event.
- Leave and take the airship, fly to the southeast continent to conclude the chapter.
- Asterisk (5/24): Freelancer, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, Knight
Note: Treasures found in towns are not placed in a chest, but can be found by examining the right place.
Chapter 1
Main Story (Ancheim)
- Find the city on the southeast continent to discover the city of Ancheim.
- Talk to the townsfolk marked with a destination marker. Then speak with King Khramer VIII in the throne room.
- After this event, you can do sub-quest. Head outside of the map, and a blue marker is placed for finding sub-quest.
Sub Quest: Thief and Merchant Asterisk
- Return to Ancheim and go to the mansion to the far right.
- Talk to Profiteur.
- Talk to the man next to the mansion.
- Leave Ancheim and look for the oasis on the world map.
- Head inside the cave to Harena Ruins.
- Treasure: 1 pq, Star Pendant, Echo Herbs, 1500 pq, Clothespin, Thief Knife, Ether, Air Knife (Blue), Steel Bow.
- Navigate through the dungeon, and a boss fight awaits at the end. Defeating the boss will give you the thief's asterisk.
- After this event, you can fight Profiteur in his mansion. Win the boss fight to obtain the merchant's asterisk.
Main Story (Temple of Wind)
- Resume the main story by heading to the Temple of Wind.
- The temple is located south of Ancheim.
- Navigate through the temple until you reach the end, where you will find the crystal chambers. Watch the event and leave.
- Use the airship and fly to the north of Anchiem. By the forest is a small house, head there to find Yulyana Woods Needleworks.
- Talk to Yulyana and then rest for the night.
- Head to the cave located southwest of Yulyana's house to find Vestment Cave.
- Navigate through the dungeon, and when you find the adventurer, it means that you're near the end. Just a little past the adventurer is a boss fight.
- After defeating the boss, pick up the Rainbow Thread and leave.
- Bring the Thread to Yulyana.
- After this story event, you will need to head back to the Temple of Wind again.
- Navigate through until you reach the Crystal Room, there is gonna be a boss fight before you can go inside the room.
- After the boss fight, mash X to resonate with the crystal. Stop when Airy tells you to stop.
Sub Quest: Time Mage and Spell Fencer's Asterisk
- Return to Ancheim to see an event. Then leave the town to see another event.
- Head back Ancheim and talk to King Khamer VIII.
- After this event, head outside and wait until nightfall, then return to Ancheim at night.
- During nighttime time you can sneak into the giant windmill.
- Navigate to the end of the Grand Mills to trigger a boss fight.
- Treasure (Grand Mills): Remedy, Phoenix Down, Earthing Rod, Thumbing Claws, Gale Staff (Blue), X-Potion, Hi-Potion, Ether
- Defeating the two bosses will give you the Time Mage and the Spell Fencer's Asterisk.
- If you have done everything above, going to your airship will trigger an event. Afterwards, if you go to the Misama Forest, the chapter will conclude.
- Asterisk (9/24): Thief, Merchant, Time Mage, Spell Fencer
Chapter 2
Main Story (To Florem)
- Navigate through Miasma Woods. There are poison puddles that you can avoid damage from with the Freelancer ability, Dungeon Master.
- Treasure (Miasma Wood): Remedy, Remedy, Phoenix Down, Scimitar, 2000 pq, Hi-Potion, X-Potion, Ether, Turbo Ether
- Once you reach the town of Florem, head to the giant flower building and talk to the Matriarch.
- Treasure (Florem): Ether, Bomb Fragment, Lilith Kiss, Tengu Yawn, Star Pendant
- Then leave Florem and on the world map, go southwest to the Temple of Water.
- Treasure (Temple of Water): Remedy, Rebuff Locket (Hidden Passage), Hi-Potion, Phoenix Down, Ice Charm, X-Potion, Ether
- Since there aren't any enemies in the temple, you should grab all the treasures before heading to the crystal room.
- Once you've seen the event in the Crystal Room, leave the temple and return to Florem.
- Talk to the Matriarch to start the summoner sub-quest.
Sub Quest: Summoner Asterisk
- After you have spoken to the Matriarch, talk to the item shopkeeper.
- Talk to the blue hair girl standing on the plaza of Florem.
- Then talk to the man with a marker at the bottom of the map.
- Talk to the same girl again.
- Then talk to the Matriarch.
- Then go to the weapon store to see an event.
- Head outside and go northwest to the Florem Garden.
- Navigate through the forest, there are blue flowers that cause silence when you accidentally step on them.
- Treasure (Florem Garden): 500 pq, Hi-Potion, X-Potion, Ether, 1000 pq, Tomahawk, Royal Crown (Blue), Tengu Yawn, Remedy, Turbo Ether
- When you're near the adventurer, there is a boss fight just right ahead. Winning the boss fight will give you the Summoner Asterisk.
Sub Quest: Ranger Asterisk
- This sub-quest is also available after talking to the Matriarch when returning from the Temple of Water.
- There are three NPCs marked with a blue marker in Florem. Talk to them. After you have spoken to them all, going west by the event marker will trigger an event battle.
- If you to the giant tree nearby, it will lead to a boss fight. Winning the boss fight will give you the Ranger Asterisk.
Main Story (Mount Fragmentum)
- Continue the story by going inside the cave to the east of Florem. You will end up in Mount Fragmentum.
- Navigate through the area, with the Summoner Asterisk, you can encounter the Water Sage midway through the dungeon to acquire Ziusudra's Sin summon.
- Acquiring summons requires you to survive the initial blast from the water sage.
- Treasure: Ripper, Remedy, 1000 pq, 500 pq, Hi-Potion, Ether, Nodachi
- There is a boss waiting at the end of the dungeon after defeating it. Leave through the east exit. Then search for Yulyana's house on the world map.
- Talk to Yulyana at his house.
- Return to Florem.
- Inside Florem, there are several scenes. Head north to see an event. After this event, you can unlock additional job classes.
Sub Quest: Red Mage's Asterisk
- After returning from Yulyana's place. Talk to the man dressed in Red.
- Rest in the inn, and talk to Ringabell at night.
- Return to Florem during the night, and talk to the girl marked with a blue sub-event marker.
- Go near DeRosa to trigger an event.
- You will have to repeat this again by returning to Florem at night.
- Then follow DeRosa again.
- Repeat it one more time by following DeRosa with Edea.
- After the end of the event, there is a boss fight that awaits. Defeat the boss to acquire the Red Mage Asterisk.
- Treasure (Underground Lab): Bomb Arm
Sub Quest: Valkyrie's Asterisk
- If you have seen the Saint Flower Festival, return at night for an event. You might have already seen this event from the previous side quest.
- If you have seen all the events, you can go to Witherwoods, north of Florem.
- Navigate through the forest, and there is a boss fight at the end.
- Treasure (Witherwoods): Remedy, 500 pg, Sleep Blade, Phoenix Down, Aeolian Bow, Teleport Stone, 1000 pg, Ether, Hi-Potion, X-Potion
- Defeat the boss to acquire the Valkyrie Asterisk.
Main Story (Twilight Ruins)
- Suppose you have finished all the side quests and optional content. You should continue with the main story by going to Twilight Ruins.
- Twilight Ruins is located to the west of Florem.
- Twilight Ruins contain crystal switches that will shift the wall and grant access to a particular path. Navigate through until you reach the end. There is a boss fight at the end of the dungeon.
- Treasure (Twilight Ruins): 500 pg, Zeus's Wrath, 1000 pg, Hi-Potion, Ether x2, Birch Bow, Hermes Sandals, Courage Ring (Hidden Passage), Turbo Ether, X-Potion, Dark Charm
- Once you have defeated the boss, return to the Temple of Water.
- Head to the Crystal Chambers and defeat the boss.
- Mash X to activate the crystal, and stop when Airy tells you to stop.
- Leave the temple, then return to the Airship by backtracking through Miasma Woods.
- You can also acquire another summon ability by going back to the Temple of Wind. You can talk to the Owl Sage, and if you survive the attack, you will get the Hraesvelgr skill.
- With that all done, use the airship to go to the ocean. By going west, the chapter will conclude.
- Asterisk (13/24): Summoner, Red Mage, Ranger, Valkyrie
Chapter 3
Main Story (Grandship)
- Travel to the open sea until you see a gigantic ship.
- Board the ship to see an event.
- Visit the north section of the ship and talk to Zatz in the bar.
- Leave Grandship. Travel west so you can reach the southwest continent of Eisenburg.
- Treasure (Grandship): Antartic Wind, 1000 pg, X-Potion, Bacchus's Wine, Flame Charm
- On the new continent, find the city near the Volcano to go to Hartschild City.
- Head inside the large mansion to see an event.
- Leave Hartschild, then go to the battle fortress to the east.
- Talk to Goodman, then leave the fortress. After this event, new sub-quests will appear on the map, allowing you to start another Asterisk side quest.
Sub Quest: Pirate's Asterisk
- A blue marker will appear by the Eisenburg port.
- Head over there and talk to Datz. After hearing the story, use the ship to navigate through the seas.
- You will find the Ghost Ship, "Funky Francisca", if you go to an area with a lot of fog.
- Treasure (Funky Francisca): 2000 pq, Viking Axe
- Normally, there are several spots for the fog to appear; from my experience, it usually appears southwest of Grandship.
- Board the ghost ship and talk to Barbarossa to engage in a boss fight.
- Defeat Barbarossa to get the Pirate Asterisk.
Main Story (Grapp Keep)
- Resume the main story by returning to the Eisenburg region.
- Go to the northeast part to find the Grapp Keep dungeon.
- Navigate through the dungeon and defeat the boss at the end.
- Treasure (Grapp Keep): X-Potion, 2000 pg, Turbo Ether, Glaive, Rebuff Locket, Elixir (Hidden Passage), Bomb Fragment, Bacchus's Wine
- You will collect a poison sample as you head out.
- Return the sample to Goodman to continue the story.
Sub Quest: Performer's Asterisk
- Once you have given the poison sample to Goodman, you can start the Performer sub-quest.
- Speak to Goodman again, and then select the third choice.
- After the event scene, head to Grandship.
- There are several NPCs marked with a blue marker; speak to them to continue the quest.
- This includes the old lady in the bar and the old man in the same area.
- Then travel to the following towns and talk to the NPC marked in blue.
- Ancheim
- Caldisla
- Florem
- Hartschild City
- Once this task is done, go back to Grandship and talk to the old lady in the bar.
- Go back to the fortress in Eisenburg and talk to Goodman. Select the third option to start a boss fight. Winning this fight will earn you the Performer Asterisk.
Main Story (Mythril Mines)
- Resume the main story by going to Mythril Mines. This is located northwest of Eisenburg.
- In the mines, you need to rescue a total of 8 hostages, there are three on the first floor and five in the second.
- Treasure (Mythril Mines): X-Potion, Earth Drum, Turbo Ether, 1000 pg
- After rescuing everyone, leave the mines and head north to Starkfort.
- Navigate through Starkfort, there are three paths. The left one will lead you to the story destination, where a boss fight awaits.
- After defeating the boss, bring back Egil to Hartschild City.
- Then go to the large mansion for an event.
- Return to Mythril Mines with Egil.
- On the basement floor, you can go to the center, and Egil will unlock the path to Underflow.
- The Underflow is a much larger dungeon compared to others. Navigate to the end to find the Temple of Fire.
- Treasure (Underflow): 1000 pg, Bomb Arm, Bomb Fragment, 2000 pg, Safety Ring, X-Potion, Flame Charm, Turbo Ether, Diamond Staff, Flare Hatchet, Gale Bow
- The Temple of Fire shares a similar design structure to the rest of the temples. You can find the fire sage here. If you manage to survive the sage's Prometheus Flame, you will get this ability for the summoner.
- Treasure (Temple of Fire): Flametongue, Iceflame Shield, X-Potion, Turbo Ether, Elixir (Hidden Passage)
- If you head to the crystal chambers, a boss encounter will ensue. Defeat the boss and release the crystal.
- Afterward, leave the dungeon and head back to the fort where Goodman is located.
- Talk to Goodman and then head back to Hartschild City.
- Head to the Goodman Mansion for an event.
- Then travel to Grandship. Talk to the customer on the left side of the pub.
- Then head back to Caldista and go to the inn for an event.
- Return to the Goodman Mansion for an event.
- Then head to Caldisla Castle for an event.
Sub Quest: Swordmaster's Asterisk
- Once you have done the story sequence from earlier, you can access the swordmaster sub quest.
- Return to Starkfort. There was a passage in the center that was previously locked.
- Treasure (Starkfort): Dragon Fang, Bacchus's Wine, Ice Charm, X-Potion, Safety Ring (Hidden Passage), Courage Ring, Turbo Ether, Power Bracers
- Head to the top and fight the Swordmaster. Defeat him to obtain the Swordmaster Asterisk.
Sub Quest: Ninja's Asterisk
- This subquest is available once you have brought Egil to the inn in Caldisla.
- Head to Hartschild City and enter Goodman's Mansion to see an event.
- Now there are two options to proceed from here. Both options will lead to a boss fight.
- You can interrogate everyone in the building and then try to leave. An event will take place, and then you will need to use Goodman's key to head to the basement.
- The other option is to examine the body of the servant. Exactly twenty times.
- Defeat the boss to obtain the Ninja Asterisk.
Main Story (Engine Room)
- To move on with the story, head down to Grandship and go to the pub for an event.
- Head to the north section of the ship.
- After this event, head to Caldisla and go to the inn.
- Speak with Egil to obtain the Oricalcum.
- Return to Grandship and unlock the special door to the north.
- Navigate through the engine room of the Grandship, a boss is waiting at the end.
- Treasure (Engine Room): Zeus's Wrath (Hidden Passage), Turbo Ether (Hidden Passage), 1000 pg, Antarctic Wind, Turbo Ether, Gold Hourglass, 2000 pg, Cross Axe, Trident, Hammer Mace, Raikiri, Bacchus's Wine, Arctic Wind, Megalixir (Hidden Passage), Barrier Shroud
- The Grandship can fly after the event scene. If you fly to the northwest snow region, the chapter will end.
Asterisk (18/24): Salve-Maker, Pirate, Performer, Swordmaster, Ninja
Chapter 4
Main Story (Eternia)
- As you arrive in the snow region of Eternia, head towards the yellow exclamation marker to continue the story. There will be a boss fight before you can get to the destination.
- Head to Eternia City.
- Treasure: Arctic Wind, Elixir, Rebuff Locket, Ice Charm, Light Curtain
- After the event scene, head to the north building and talk to Edea's mother.
- There are two paths going forward, If you go west first, there is a boss fight that will grant you access to the Vampire Castle. You can come back later to obtain the Vampire Asterisk.
- Anyways, if you go east, you will come across a village that is a cemetery. Watch the event, two items can be found in Gravemark Village.
- Head forward to the destination marker to reach the Eternia Central Command.
- Treasure (Eternia Central Command): 3000 pg, X-Potion, 5000 pg, Light Curtain, Excalibur, Light Charm, X-Potion, Dragon Fang, Zeus's Wrath, Bacchus's Wine, Pantheon’s Wrath, Lilith’s Kiss, Gold Hourglass, Turbo Ether, Divine Fists, Assassin Dagger, Holy Lance, Stardust, Elixir
- Make your preparations, and when you're ready, going to the objective marker will lead to a boss fight.
- After defeating the boss, head back to the entrance for an event.
- In the Eternia Prison, use Edea to rescue the rest of your friends.
- You can find Ringabell in the top center.
- Agnes is in the southeast corner.
- Then Tiz is in the bottom center.
- Once you escape the prison, there will be an event scene, and you will end up back in the council headquarters.
- Take the elevator northeast to go to the 47th floor.
- Find Edea's room on the next floor.
- Use the room to make your preparations, then take the elevator for a boss fight. After this event, you will get the Templar's Asterisk.
Sub Quest: Vampire's Asterisk
- You can do the Vampire Asterisk questline once you have obtained the Paladin's Asterisk.
- From Eternia, there were two paths going forward. If you take the west path, a dragon zombie is blocking the road. You might have already defeated this dragon zombie. If you have defeated the dragon, continue forward to find the Vampire Castle.
- After examining the seal, you will need to find all the keystones to unlock the seal to the vampire castle.
- Fire Keystone - East of Starkfort or North of Grapp Keep.
- Water Keystone - Small island north of Yulyana Forest.
- Wind Keystone - Near the Ancheim oasis.
- Earth Keystone - Southwest of Eternia.
- Light Keystone - Northeast of Yulyana Forest.
- Dark Keystone - North of Lontano Villa.
- Once you have defeated the dragons and collected all the keystones, return to the Vampire Castle and unseal the gate.
- There is a total of 7 floors to go through in the Vampire Castle. Reach the top and defeat the boss to get the Vampire Asterisk.
- To make the best out of the Vampire job, you will need to acquire the Genome abilities. This is earned by surviving unique attacks from specific monsters. For more information, check out the Vampire class guide.
Main Story (Everlast Tower)
- To continue with the main story, head to the north exit of Eternia Central Command. You will come across the Everlast Tower.
- In the Everlast Tower, you can find the Thunder Sage. If you manage to survive the blast, you will get the Deus EX Machina summon. A method to survive the blast is to equip the Raikiri katana, this weapon allows the wearer to nullify all electric damage.
- Treasure (Everlast Tower): Turbo Ether, Ancient Bow, Earth Drum, Turbo Ether, Rune Blade (Hidden Passage), X-Potion, Elixir, Kiku-Ichimonji, Dark Shield, Gold Hourglass, Dragon Fang
- Navigate through the tower to find the Temple of Earth. In the temple, there is a boss fight waiting at the end. Once you have defeated it, release the crystal by mashing X.
- Treasure (Temple of Earth): Earth Charm, Earth Mallet, Light Curtain
- With all four crystals released, there is a pillar of light on the world map. If you head over there, there is a boss fight. Defeat the boss to conclude the chapter.
Asterisk (23/24): Spiritmaster, Arcanist, Templar, Vampire, Dark Knight
Chapter 5
- When you regain control, you will be back in Caldista. Speak to the innkeeper.
- Then head to the castle throne room and speak to the king,
- After this segment, you will also have Alternis' Diary in your possession. You can read it for some subtle story hints.
- Proceed with the story by going to the Norende Ravine. Head to the crater area to find Agnes.
- Return to Caldista and talk to Ringabell by the east side of the map.
- After this event, you will have access to your ship again.
- Grandship will now carry the best available gear and spells. Head over there to restock and purchase the new spells as well.
- You can also obtain the Susano-o summon if you manage to survive the blast. This does roughly 6500 to 8000 damage. The White Mage's ability, Angel's Blessing, should do enough mitigation to survive the blast.
- From here, the chapters will follow a structure where you will repeat everything again. You can head to where the Asterisk users were located to fight them again to obtain their jobs if you missed them from the earlier chapters. Do note that the bosses will be scaled to the current chapter level, so they are much stronger than before.
- To continue with the main story, head to each of the temples and release the crystals.
- A side note is that you can also fast forward to the finale if you choose to destroy the crystal by mashing X without stopping during the release segment. However, I would not recommend doing this step until much later, as this step will put you a bit underlevel for the last part of the game.
- When you release the four crystals, head to the pillar of light in the middle of the world map and defeat the boss to end this chapter.
Chapter 6
Main Story (Blue Chest Guide)
- When you regain control, you can grab the shiny object on Grandship. Doing so will give you the treasure chest key, which allows you to unlock the blue treasures that you have previously seen.

- Then, continue by releasing the crystals. After releasing three crystals, head to Yulyana Needleworks and talk to Yulyana.
- Then go inside Vestment Caves and find Yulyana in the depths.
- From here, you can repeat all the side quests from before, if you miss them in the earlier chapters; however, the bosses will be scaled to the current chapter and will be a little bit stronger than in the previous chapters.
Sub Quest: Conjurer Asterisk
- After you have spoken to Yulyana in Vestment Cave, you can start the Conjurer sub-quest.
- Return to Yulyana's house to find a letter.
- Head to Eternia Central Command. Then talk to Yulyan on the last floor.
- Then defeat the series of bosses in this order.
- Edea's Room in Eternia Central Command.
- Eternia, Central Tower.
- Twilight Ruins, the hidden village.
- Then head to Norende Crater for an event scene.
- Then fight Yulyana at his house. Win the boss fight to get the Conjurer Asterisk.
- Asterisk (24/24): Conjurer
Main Story (Chapter 6 End)
- Once you have released the last crystal, head to the pillar of light and defeat the boss to end the chapter.
Chapter 7
- Like the previous chapters, you will have to repeat the process to continue with the main story. This is by releasing the four crystals and heading into the pillar of light.
- If you want to skip to the finale, you can do so by breaking the crystal during the crystal release segment, however, this does not bring you to the true finale.
- Unlike the previous chapters, you challenge the Asterisk users in groups. These are some of the toughest fights in the game; however, they offer some of the best equipment as items that can be stolen or obtained from battle drops.

Chapter 8
- This chapter follows the same structure as the previous chapter. This is achieved by releasing the four crystals and entering the pillar of light.
- If you want to skip to the finale, you can do so by breaking the crystal during the crystal release segment, however, this does not bring you to the true finale.
- You can challenge the Asterisk users in groups. The boss combinations are even harder than the previous chapter and are some of the toughest fights in the game; however, unlike the last chapter, they don't offer good loot and only provide Elixirs or Turbo Ether as a reward, either being stolen or a battle drop.

Finale
- This chapter is only available if you choose to ignore Airy's warning during the Crystal Release segment in Chapter 5 to 8.
- If you play the game normally, you can ignore this section and check The End section, which will lead to the true ending. Although completing this chapter does provide an alternative ending as well as a bonus costume at the end,
- During the sequence in the crystal chamber, if you destroy the crystal, the game will fast forward to this chapter.
- The chapter will start with an unwinnable boss fight.
- After the boss sequence, leave the temple.
- You can also do the post-game dungeon, but to access it, you will need to speak to Lord DeRosso at the end of the Vampire Castle. For that reason, you should save it until the true finale. If you want more information related to the dungeon, check the post-game dungeon section.
- To continue with the story, head to the Norende Crate to enter the final dungeon.
- Navigate through the dungeon, you will need to use the warp points to reach the end. There are several boss fights that await. If you fast forward to this chapter, you may find yourself underlevel for the next few bosses ahead.
- Treasure (Dark Aurora): Aegis Shield, Black Belt, Blood Blade, Brave Suit, Gold Hairpin, Heart Ring, Lamia's Tiara, Life Ring, Lilith's Rod, Lordly Robes, Megalixir, Megalixir, Ribbon, Safety Ring
- Defeat the bosses to watch the ending. Reloading your save file will bring you back before you destroy one of the crystals.
The End (True Finale)
- The True Finale occurs if you went through all the loops, and the chapter will appear as if you headed to the pillar of light for the final time.
- After the event in the Grandship, it will trigger a boss battle. This is the same boss as the one who appears in the finale.
- Once you have defeated the boss, talk to Edea. Then Agnè in the pub.
- If you have completed the Vampire Side Quest in the current loop, you can also access the bonus dungeon. For more information, you can skip ahead to the post-game section.
- When you're all ready, head to the Norende Crater to enter the final dungeon.
- The final dungeon is the same one as the one from the finale. If you have seen the normal ending, there won't be any loot around here. Anyways, navigate through the warp points to reach the end.

- After the ending, the game will let you create a save file that brings you back to Chapter 8. You can use this to try for the normal ending or challenge the asterisk group again. As mentioned before, there is a bonus dungeon.
Bonus Dungeon (Dimension Hasp)
- The bonus dungeon is accessible in the two finale chapters.
- For the Finale version, you will need to talk to Lord DeRosso at the end of the Vampire Castle to remove the seal.
- For the True End version, you will need to talk to Yulyana to remove the seal to the optional dungeon.
- You can find the optional dungeon in the northeast part of the world map on the snow crescent island.
- The final dungeon consists of 10 floors and a bonus super boss at the end. Once you find the last treasure, the Durandal, check to the right of the treasure to find a hidden passage. The secret boss awaits you over there.
