Elden Ring Nightreign - How to unlock the Revenant

Elden Ring Nightreign lets players assume the roles of various Nightfarers, which act as the game's classes, each coming with their own unique sets of skills and abilities. The Revenant, a master of necromancy, is one of the two Nightfarers that, like the Duchess, you will need to unlock before getting to use them, and this short guide will show you how. 

How to Unlock

Once you have unlocked the Duchess, head to the Small Jar Bazaar in the Roundtable Hold. You should now see a new relic towards the bottom of the list, the "Besmirched Frame". Purchase it for 1,500 Runes.

With the mirror in hand, quickly head to the journal area in the Hold. Nearby, you will find a ghostly visage of a girl. Speak to her and show her the mirror. This will take you to a small area outside the Roundtable hold.

In this new area, head to the nearby ruins, found on the map. 

When you arrive, you will see the Revenant waiting for you, triggering a fight. Take out her ghostly minions first, meanwhile taking care to avoid her magical attacks.

Once you have beaten the Revenant, you will unlock her as a Nightfarer to play as.

Playing the Revenant

With her low stamina and health, you will want to make sure you stay in the back during fights, as you won't be able to take much of a hit. But, thanks to her incredible Faith stat and decent Arcane stat, the Revenant can still prove to be a great support character, especially when using Dragon Communion spells. Giving her a long-range weapon like a bow will also help keep her safe and allow her passive ability to trigger as well.

Passive Ability: Necromancy

When you deal the last hit against an enemy, there is a chance that they will be revived as a phantom for one minute to fight alongside your team.

Character Skill: Summon Spirit

Using this skill will allow you to pick from three spirit phantoms to summon and aid you. When the spirits are inactive, they will slowly heal themselves.

Ultimate Art: Immortal March

Immortal March is an incredibly powerful ability that not only revives any members of your party but also makes everyone (the revenant's spirits included) immortal. Any damage that would take out a character instead leaves them at a single health. This can prove to be a clutch move in boss fights, but also requires you to be really careful you pay attention to when the ability ends and are no longer immortal.
