Persona 3 Reload DLC Guide – Deluxe Content, Premium DLC, Costumes, BGM, Personas, Episode Aigis, and More

Persona 3 Reload from Sega and Atlus launched last year for PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC platforms. Alongside the three editions available at launch, it also got an Expansion Pass featuring Episode Aigis -The Answer- and more content. This Persona 3 Reload DLC guide will cover the game's editions, DLC, prices, upgrades to different editions, the expansion pass, and what to expect on Nintendo Switch 2 next week.

Persona 3 Reload game editions

Persona 3 Reload - $69.99
Persona 3 Reload Digital Deluxe Edition - $79.99
Persona 3 Reload Digital Premium Edition - $89.99

On Nintendo Switch 2, the same editions are available, but they are priced $10 less. Despite releasing nearly two years later, Persona 3 Reload on Switch's base game includes no additional content. You will need to buy the Digital Premium Edition (as a pre-order) and then the expansion pass to get everything.

On PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC, this was no longer available after the pre-order period digitally and has not been made available for purchase on its own. It is likely the same will happen for Switch 2.

Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass

The Persona 3 Reload expansion pass is not included with any of the higher-priced game editions. It includes new costumes, BGM, and an extended story content scenario “Episode Aigis -The Answer-”. For PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC platforms it was released over time in the following waves with all of them now available:

Wave 1 - Persona 5 Royal EX BGM Set and Persona 4 Golden EX BGM Set - Release Date: March 2024 - This includes additional tracks from Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden for use while exploring and battling in dungeons in Persona 3 Reload and Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis -The Answer-.
Wave 2 - Velvet Costume & BGM Set - Release Date: May 2024 - This includes Velvet Room themed costumes and BGM to customize your dungeon experience in Persona 3 Reload and Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis -The Answer-.

Wave 3 - New Expansive Story Scenario, “Episode Aigis -The Answer-” - Release Date: September 2024 - Atlus describes this as "After unravelling the mysteries of the Dark Hour, fighting epic battles through Tartarus, and all the unforgettable events of Persona 3 Reload, the S.E.E.S. members find themselves trapped in a never-ending March 31st. Note that the expansion pass content was not sold onits own and was only included in the expansion pass bundle priced at $34.99.

Where to claim DLC in Persona 3 Reload

Once you have purchased DLC for Persona 3 Reload, pre-ordered it for the pre-order bonus, or redeemed a pre-order code, you can redeem the content in-game by checking the closet in your room. You need to manually do this so the costume and BGM options appear in-game for use.

How to change costumes in Persona 3 Reload

To change your Costume, go to the Main Menu by pressing the top face button (X on Switch 2, Y on Xbox,and Triangle on PS5) and then select EQUIP. you can then select the character and then select their outfit.

How to change BGM in Persona 3 Reload

To change your BGM in Persona 3 Reload, go to your Main Menu, then the SYSTEM menu, and then CONFIG. From here, the Game System Settings let you select "Change Dungeon BGM" or "Change Battle BGM".

Persona 3 Reload DLC not sold separately

The Persona 3 Reload Digital Artbook and Digital Soundtrack are only available in the Digital Deluxe and Digital Premium Editions. The Persona 3 Reload pre-order bonus is also not sold separately. While the Persona 3 Reload expansion pass is available to buy, you cannot buy any of the individual contents separately. This means if you just want Persona 3 Reload and Episode Aigis, you will still need to buy the complete expansion pass.

Persona 3 Reload is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). It releases on October 23 for Nintendo Switch 2.
