Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift codes

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is now available worldwide on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. As with other Pokemon games, Pokemon Legends: Z-A includes the Mystery Gift feature. This is used to claim early purchase bonuses, redeem special serial codes, and more. Some of these codes might be region-specific, but this Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift codes guide will list the codes available now, the ones that no longer work for historical purposes, when you unlock Mystery Gift codes in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and how to redeem them.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift codes list

The only Mystery Gift codes available right now are the ones you received from pre-ordering the game digitally or the early purchase bonus. These are user and purchase-specific and not common ones that The Pokemon Company shares online. I will update this when more codes are shared.

How to redeem Mystery Gifts and serial codes in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Once you have completed the requirements detailed here, you will have Mable's Research and Link Play visible in your phone. Select Link Play and then the Mystery Gift option. You can now select: Get via Internet, Get with Code/Password, and Check Mystery Gifts. 

How to claim Ralts holding a Gardevoirite in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

You will be able to claim Ralts holding a Gardevoirite in Pokemon Legends: Z-A if you purchased the game (physical or digital) by February 28, 2026. You can claim Ralts by choosing "Get via Internet" in the Mystery Gift feature until February 28, 2026. You need to be online and have a user profile linked to a Nintendo Account to receive this gift. 

How to claim 100 Poke Balls early purchase bonus in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

If you purchased the digital version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A from a retailer or the eShop, you will have received a serial code for 100 Poke Balls in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. You need to have purchased it by February 28, 2026 for this early purchase bonus. A code will likely have been emailed to you on your Nintendo Account email or on the email associated with your account at the retailer you purchased the digital version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A from. You can input this code from the Mystery Gift feature using the Redeem Code/Password option. I was able to claim this from the Japanese eShop code (the one you get by email for buying the game via the eShop) despite redeeming on another region account using the Mystery Gift feature. 

How to claim the Luxurious Poke Ball Set bonus in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

If you purchase the Pokemon Legends: Z-A - Mega Dimension DLC by February 28, 2026 you will receive a code (like the code above) for a Luxurious Poke Ball Set. This includes four different varieties of Poke balls. You will also receive this code if you buy the DLC via a download card or code at an online retailer. The Luxurious Poke Ball Set includes: 

• Fast Balls × 3 - More effective when catching Pokémon that are usually very quick to run away.
• Lure Balls × 3 - More effective when catching Pokémon in or on the water.
• Level Balls × 3 - Becomes more effective the lower the level of the Pokémon compared to your own Pokémon.
• Heavy Balls × 3 - Becomes more effective the heavier the Pokémon is.

When does the Mystery Gift feature in Pokemon Legends: Z-A unlock

The Mystery Gift feature in Pokemon Legends: Z-A unlocks after about one hour of playing after you have worked your way through the tutorial, caught 5 species of Pokemon, and then reached the Pokemon Research Lab. This basically requires you to complete the five-Pokemon challenge in the first wild zone as a part of the tutorial when you install the story-related app on your phone. When you go to the 3rd floor in the Pokemon Research Lab and talk to the acting director (Mable). After you finish speaking to Mable, you will be able to use the Link Play where you can use the Mystery Gift feature. 

How many Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift serial codes can you redeem on a single save?

While there is no limit to how many unique codes you can redeem on a single save, one specific code can only be used once. This means you cannot redeem a code for 100 more Poke Balls if you already redeemed the first digital purchase bonus code. After you’ve used the serial code to claim your gift using the Mystery Gift feature, you will not be able to use the same code in another save file. The early purchase and pre-order bonus codes are single use codes.
