Pokemon Legends: Z-A Honedge Guide - Where to find and catch Honedge

You'd be forgiven if you missed that, in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, different Pokemon will spawn in locations depending on the time of day. While the game does tell you this, the cyclical structure of the game might make it seem like you should exclusively be focused on the Z-A Royale after night falls. However, that's not true - and if you've been wondering where to find a Honedge to add to your team, you'd never find one if you only searched during the daytime hours. Honedge only spawns at night, and only in a specific Wild Zone.

Where to catch Honedge

Chances are you probably have a good idea where Honedge could spawn, and if that guess was Wild Zone 4 you would be correct. While Gastly wander around even during the day, not all ghosts are comfortable showing themselves. Honedge will only appear in Wild Zone 4 during the night. It's not as plentiful as some of the other spawns, but it's still common enough. Simply use a bench nearby to make sure its nighttime, and it won't be long before you'll spot one in the cemetery.

If you're looking to evolve Honedge's evolution, Doublade, into Aegislash - you can eventually purchase a Dusk Stone in Southern Lumiose, off of Vernal Avenue. You can't reach Honedge's final evolution via level, so remember this! You can also find evolution stones scattered across Lumiose as pickups, but by the time you should be ready to evolve Doublade chances are you'll be able to purchase Dusk Stones at the Emporium.
