Ys X: Proud Nordics launches this week as an enhanced and upgraded version of the original game for PC, Switch 2, and PS5 platforms in the West. Not only does Ys X: Proud Nordics ship with a lot of the original game's costumes and accessories, but it also has its own new paid and free DLC. This Ys X: Proud Nordics DLC guide will cover all the free DLC, new paid DLC, bundles, and more. It will be updated on launch day when the upgrade options and more prices are revealed.

Ys X: Proud Nordics free DLC from Ys X: Nordics base game 

The Ys X: Nordics DLC included in the base release of Ys X: Proud Nordics (for free) is as follows:

  • Bonus Set 1: Costumes - A set of costumes and attachments for the main characters. This includes the following: Pikkard Suit (Adol), Pikkard Suit (Karja), Pickaback Pikkard x2, Legendary Cleria ARmor, Azure Mermaid, Summer Adventure, Endless Voyage, Heroic Captain.

How to claim DLC in Ys X: Proud Nordics – free and new paid content

For the base game or free DLC already included in Ys X: Proud Nordics, you need to go into the inventory menu and claim it all from the "Usable" tab of the item menu. This involves claiming all the DLC one by one. For the new paid DLC you buy or any new Proud Nordics DLC you get, you need to change tabs to the DLC one on the right and claim each set you buy or own individually. You can use obtained mascots in the "Usable" tab of the item menu to place them on your screen.

How to change costumes in Ys X: Proud Nordics

To change costumes in Ys X: Proud Nordics, go into the equipment section and scroll down to the cosmetics section of the screen. From here, you can equip costumes and accessories for each party member.

Ys X: Proud Nordics launches on February 20, 2026 for the West on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic). It launches on February 19, 2026 in Japan on PS5.
