Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Part 1 Subquest Guide - How Subquests work and where to find them
At first, Subquests seem like a relatively simple component to Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. You can talk to townsfolk around Dagsion to obtain quick requests to complete for rewards and Renown. However, with the game's multi-path structure in Part I, some of the details get a little bit confusing. This page is to try to help explain how Subquests work in the game.
A Key Note on Subquests in Part I of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave
In RPG Site's testing of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave with two different players, we observed that Subquest availability was not simply tied to a certain protagonist. The subquests that become available to you appear to be semi-random, and it may depend on the order in which you complete Part I Paths. If you do Leda's Path first, the quests you see will not be the same as if you do Leda's Path last, for example.
That means it is difficult to precisely state which exact quests will become available to any given player, because it varies from playthrough to playthrough. So, this page will list all possible available quests in each chapter, as well as your rewards. If you don't see a quest on your first Path, it will likely show up in later paths.

The game helps you out a bit on replays, too. When you complete a Subquest on your first Part I Path, that quest will be automatically completed on subsequent Part 1 Path playthroughs (including replays), and you'll gain the rewards automatically. That means, effectively, you only ever have to complete any given Subquest once, as it will be automatically completed every other time afterward.
These subquests on this page should NOT be confused with the character-specific quests available only to certain protagonists. Each main protagonist in Part I has special quests that only they can achieve on their path. These quests are even given a separate tab in the game's menus. We include these character-specific quests in our walkthroughs for each Part I Path. This page only includes Subquests in the generic "Subquest" menu of the game.
