Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis launches for PC and more platforms in 2021

At today's Xbox Games Showcase, Sega has revealed Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, the latest entry in the popular MMORPG series to celebrate its 20th anniversary since the first game was launched for the Dreamcast in 2000. With updated graphics and game systems, this title is set to launch in 2021.

In North America, New Genesis will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows 10 PC. However, at the same time, Sega also announced in Japan that the same title will be available locally on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, with additional cloud versions for Nintendo Switch and PC.

Although both the English and Japanese press releases mentioned a global scale that includes Japan and North America, it is still yet to be known if other regions such as Europe and Southeast Asia will also be covered or not.
