Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin announced for Switch

During today’s Nintendo Direct Mini, Capcom revealed a trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin for Switch, coming in Summer 2021. It’s been a few years since the first game was released on the Nintendo 3DS, but from the trailer, it’s clear that Monster Hunter Stories 2 will have the same RPG focus on story building and characters as its predecessor. From monster collecting to monster befriending, the trailer showed off elements (and monsters) for old and new Monster Hunter fans.

Alongside this announcement, a new more classically-styled Monster Hunter game was also revealed for Nintendo Switch in Monster Hunter Rise.
