Rune Factory 5 launches for Nintendo Switch in 2021

During today's Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, Marvelous and XSEED Games revealed the first official footage of Rune Factory 5. This latest sequel is coming to Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021, with Japan having a more specified release window in Spring 2021.

Rune Factory 5 was originally teased in 2019 when XSEED announced Rune Factory 4 Special, but not much information was given for RF5, other than a teaser that two guest characters from RF4 can show up in RF5 with save data of Rune Factory 4 Special on the same Switch unit.

Both a Japanese trailer and English section of the Nintendo Direct can be found below. Find the official English press release from XSEED Games, as well as more screenshots of the game, below the trailers.
