NieR Replicant remaster launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on April 23, 2021
On the first day of Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online, Square Enix revealed the release date for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., which will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in North America and Europe on April 23, 2021. Japan and Asia will get the game one day earlier on April 22 on the PS4 and Xbox One, with the latter available only digitally in Japan.
A limited physical edition of the current-gen rerelease was also revealed on the stream. The White Snow Edition will come with the following items:
- NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... STANDARD EDITION physical game (packed separately)
- Grimoire Pin Set – Grimoire Weiss, Grimoire Noir, and Grimoire Rubrum pins which come presented in a specialized display case.
- Script Set – A set of seven books encompassing the spoken script of the game. Packaged in a special hard case, featuring covers art by character designer, Akihiko Yoshida.
- Special Soundtrack – A two-disc collection featuring newly-edited and arranged music for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., presented in a premium Grimoire Weiss-inspired package.
- Steelbook® Case – A metal case featuring stunning artwork by illustrator Kazuma Koda.
- Lunar Tear Collector’s Box.
The North American and European physical releases will have a different box art from the Japanese and Asian versions, although the other box art will also be available on the backside. Purchasing the game digitally will come with a bonus mini soundtrack on all platforms. The PS4 digital purchase will add a dynamic theme and avatar set, while the Steam version comes with a wallpaper set.

This announcement was made alongside other Nier series news, too - like confirmation that mobile spin-off Nier Reincarnation will get a western release and the reveal that Nier Automata has shipped 4.85 million units.
