Young Robbie and Purah revealed in short new Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity trailer

Nintendo has uploaded a short new trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, showing off returning characters Robbie and Purah in their new younger renditions. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the pair of researchers assist Link with his battle against Ganon from the Akkala and Hateno Ancient Tech Labs, but state that they haven't worked together since the calamity occurred. Naturally then, the duo seem to be closely allied in the Koei Tecmo developed prequel. Purah was even the one to place Link in the shrine of Ressurection before the events of that game, so it might be interesting to see how big a role she'll play here. For what it's worth, neither seems to be playable here.

The trailer showcasing the duo is shown below, although it is pretty short. It enough to introduce some of the new voice work nonetheless.

Get a first look at a few of the allies critical to the fight against Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, including the Sheikah researchers Robbie and Purah, and the King of Hyrule himself!

In case you missed it, new footage was shown off for this new Warriors title during Tokyo Game Show last month, along with introducing another young version of a returning character with the reveal of Impa as a playable character.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is due out November 20 for Nintendo Switch.
