Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin surpasses 500,000 copies sold worldwide

Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games have announced that Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has surpassed 500,000 copies sold worldwide, comprising of digital sales and sell-in figures.

The farming sim / action RPG hybrid released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in November, and the game is now one of the bestsellers for the publisher.

The game’s performance at launch is one of the bestsellers for the company, and the celebrated success reflects digital sales and sell-in figures for retail product which is largely sold out. The action platformer and rice cultivation title from indie developer Edelweiss launched in North America on November 10, in Japan on November 12, and in Europe on November 20 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Nintendo Switch™ system, and Windows PC via Steam.
