The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD announced for Nintendo Switch, set to release on July 16

During today's Nintendo Direct livestream, Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, set to release for Nintendo Switch on July 16 priced at $59.99. The game is a remaster of the Nintendo Wii title, which originally released in 2011.

The HD re-release uses the Joy-Con controllers for motion control options, but new to the game is a button-only control scheme that can be used in handheld mode, on the Switch Lite, or the Pro Controller. Unlike The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD for Wii U, there does not seem to be any content tweaks to the game itself, other than the new button-only control mode.
