Yuffie Kisaragi (voiced in Japanese by Yumi Kakazu): A member of Wutai's special skill group "Shinobi". She has numerous self-proclaimed titles such as Pretty Girl Ninja and Skilled Materia Hunter. She toys with her enemies with her nimble movements and a giant shuriken she wields. She is now working to save her hometown, which lost its liveliness after losing in a war against Shinra. She infiltrates Midgar with a secret order from the Wutai interim government.

Sonon Kusakabe (voiced in Japanese by Yoshimasa Hosoya): A warrior who comes from Wutai. He studied kenpo (martial arts) and bojutsu (staff arts) from Yuffie's father Godo. Having participated in the war in a young age, he was raised with hatred towards Shinra. He is currently undergoing an infiltration mission, tagging along with his younger superior Yuffie. With a serious personality, he kindly follows his superior who tends to act recklessly.

Yuffie is adept at both close-range combat and long-range attacks in battle, using shuriken and ninjutsu, unlike other characters. On the field, Yuffie has various unique field actions where she can hit Shinra Boxes from afar with Shuriken, and she can also tread along wire nets like a ninja.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to release for PlayStation 5 on June 10. You can check out the announcement press release here. We've also learned that Tetsuya Nomura is not directing the next installment of Final Fantasy VII Remake, and is instead acting as Creative Director.
