Death end re;Quest launches for Nintendo Switch in the West on April 27

During today's New Game Plus Expo stream, Idea Factory International announced that Death end re;Quest will launch for Nintendo Switch on April 27. The RPG/VN hybrid originally released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2018, followed by an English release for PS4 and Steam in 2019. The Japanese Switch port landed last December.

This port will be available for $39.99 digitally with limited retail availability. A physical version can either be pre-ordered from Limited Run Games or by wishlisting on the official website.

Death end re;Quest is a game where developer Shina Ninomiya discovers that she is trapped inside her own game, a virtual MMORPG called 'World Odyssey', and needs to complete the game with the rare true ending in order to return to the real world. However, the game is full of bugs and glitches that Shina must overcome. The scenario is written by Makoto Kedouin, known for Corpse Party.
