Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Pokemon Shining Pearl set to release on November 19

The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have announced a release date for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. The remakes of Pokemon Diamond, and Pokemon Pearl, will release worldwide on November 19, 2021. The much-anticipated games will return fans to the Sinnoh region 15 years after the original Pokemon Diamond, and Pokemon Pearl's release.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokemon Shining Pearl, were announced during the Pokemon Presents video back on February 26, 2021. These Gen IV remakes feature chibi-style overworld character models, and a full-3D enviornment. The style has received mixed reception among Pokemon fans, some that like how it pays homage to the original DS graphics, with detractors not being fans of the chibi style. The games are being developed by Ilca, the company who developed Pokemon Home.
