Here's what you get in the first wave of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC season pass

For those who picked up Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and are looking for more, the first wave of DLC is about to release on June 18th - and Nintendo has just released some more details on the DLC pack as part of its E3 Nintendo Direct broadcast.

Wave 1 of the musou-style spin-off's DLC is titled "Pulse of the Ancients", and brings with it a plethora of new features including a new playable Guardian, new weapons for Link and Zelda, an "Apocalyptic" difficulty level, new challenges and more powerful enemy types.

As you can see in the trailer and screenshots, you can also put Zelda on the motorcycle from Breath of the Wild's DLC and use it as a weapon to rip enemies up. Which is silly, and great.

You can pick up the season's pass for $19.99 USD. For the record, if you picked up on that bug that looked like it'd net you a free copy of the DLC on Nintendo eShop, that won't work - you will still have to buy it.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is the highest-selling Musou game of all time. The last known sales numbers for Age of Calamity was 3.7 million units in March. You can check out our review for this title here. Keep checking back for more news on this title's upcoming DLC!
