Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is heading to Switch this September

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to release for the Nintendo Switch later this year, with the new port of the game available on September 24th.

For those who haven't been following it too closely, Kakarot is an open-world action RPG set in the Dragon Ball Z universe developed by CyberConnect2, and it originally released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Kakrot lets you play through the four sagas, seeing you journey through several classic Dragon Ball Z stories and facing down iconic foes.

It's a full-blown RPG, with side quests and activities that don't involve smashing people's faces in, which is a bit of a unique thing for Dragon Ball Z games.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game will include the two 'A New Power Awakens' boss battle episodes, which were previously released as downloadable content for the other versions of the game. This is where the game gets its official full title from - which is Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set.
