Bravely Default II has surpassed 950,000 units sold on Nintendo Switch

Square Enix has revealed that Bravely Default II has surpassed 950,000 units sold on Nintendo Switch, including shipments and digital sales. The information comes alongside the Japanese announcement for the upcoming PC version.

For some context, Square Enix previously revealed — in the Japanese announcement for new mobile entry Brilliant Lights — that the Bravely series as a whole has surpassed 3 million units, as of July 2021. Additionally, a somewhat similar classic RPG-styled game in Octopath Traveler reached 1 million sales on Switch in about 1 month.

Bravely Default II originally released for Nintendo Switch in February 2021, and you can check out our review for the classically styled RPG here. Its launch on Steam is less than a week away, coming on September 2.
