Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town surpasses one million units sold

Marvelous has announced that Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town has surpassed one million units sold, including shipments and digital sales. The game released for Nintendo Switch in March 2021, followed by a PC release last month.

Previously XSEED announced the farming sim was their fastest-selling title in May 2021, and it had reached 700K units in March 2021. 

In the press release, Marvelous emphasizes continued effort with the Story of Seasons (Bokujo Monogatari) franchise, including mobile entries in collaboration with Tencent, as well as more collaborations with other popular IP, presumably in the vein of Doraemon: Story of Seasons.
