Egglia Rebirth announced for Nintendo Switch, set to release in Japan on December 16
Brownies has announced Egglia Rebirth, an enhanced Nintendo Switch port of mobile title Egglia: Legend of the Redcap, set to release for the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop on December 16.
Egglia: Legend of the Redcap, the mobile game, originally released in 2017 as a premium paid title for iOS & Android devices, and RPG Site was quite fond of it in Zack's original review. Sometime after launch, however, the game changed to a free-to-play model. The game's tone and art style strongly resemble Square Enix's Mana series, with producer and character designer Shinichi Kameoka having worked on several Mana games before founding Brownies.
Egglia Rebirth, the upcoming Nintendo Switch port, will be priced at ¥2200 and adds an overhauled UI, improved visuals, more facial expressions in character animations, along with new events & residents.
A new trailer and screenshot set can be found below, and the official website is here. An English version release has not been announced.
Update: Brownies has confirmed that Egglia Rebirth will see release in the Americas, Europe, Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong, at a later date.
