Koei Tecmo's Attack on Titan series sells 2.6 million units; free demo again available

Koei Tecmo has announced [PDF] that the combined sales of the Omega Force-developed Attack on Titan, Attack on Titan 2, and Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle have surpassed 2.6 million units sold worldwide.

The first Attack on Titan game released in August 2016, Attack on Titan 2 released in March 2018, andĀ Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle (a re-release / expansion) released in July 2019. These titles are action games that cover the anime series up through the end of season 3, featuring over 40 playable characters.

Additionally, Koei Tecmo has re-released a free demo for Attack on Titan 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. These demos were previously available for a limited time back in 2019, but were removed from their respective storefrontsĀ until now.
